Specialty Coating Systems PDS 2060PC Parylene Coating Machine

The PDS 2060PC is a vacuum deposition system using PC control for precise, consistent conformal coating.  Parylene is a thin, transparent polymer coating that conforms precisely to the substrate shape, is pinhole free, has high dielectric strength and surface resistivity, and resists moisture, acids, alkalis, petroleum products and solvents.

The system consists of three primary sections.  In the vaporizer, the solid parylene dimer is changed from a solid to a gas.  The furnace changes the dimer to a reactive monomer.  Finally, the room temperature chamber is where product coating takes place.
